FAQ

• Is honey perishable?

  • Honey has many antimicrobial properties, that mean it can be kept practically indefinitely without spoiling.

  • That said, honey can crystalize with time, loosing it’s clarity. If this happens, we suggest taking the lid off, and heating it gently on your stovetop, in a pot with water that surrounds the jar 3/4 of the height of the jar. Heating it in this water bath will ensure it does not over heat.

  • Please note: if you are not careful to heat the honey just until clarity is achieved, otherwise the honeycomb wax may melt.

• Are the bath salts edible?

  • No. Do not eat the bath salts.

• Can I arrange to pick up my order, if I live in the LA area, to save on shipping?

  • Potentially, depending on timeline.
